LBCAF Donates $10,000 to The Lakes Volunteer Fire Department
Thanks to your generous donations, Lake Burton Civic Association Foundation President Elizabeth Gill presented a $10,000 check to Matt and Barry Wood of Station 10 - The Lakes Volunteer Fire Department. The LBCA is very thankful for the volunteers who staff the Fire Stations around the Georgia Power Lakes in Rabun County. The Wildcat, Tallulah-Persimmon and Lakes fire stations protect lives and property around the lakes and man the fire boats on Lake Burton and Lake Rabun.The LBCA Foundation Impact Award is an annual grant award to a Rabun County nonprofit that positively impacts the lives of Rabun County residents.
