Saturday, July 24 | Betty Seni
Hailing from Florida, Betty began belting out melodies even before learning to talk. Being born a "natural" singer, and finely tuned with early musical training, Betty is a very powerful and versatile vocalist, as well as a fine all-around musician. She enjoys performing many different styles of music!
Betty's experience includes work with many successful musical groups, as well as solo performances. She has performed in the studio for commercial jingles and for projects as lead as well as a background vocalist.
With an incredible vocal range, and the soul and energy to go with it, all one can say is "hearing is believing!"
Saturday, August 7 | The Atlanta Swing Orchestra | Swing Dancing@LaPrade's
The Atlanta Swing Orchestra originally started from a group of musicians in the Atlanta Lawyers Orchestra who decided that they wanted to play swing band music. The jazz band was known as "Frivolous Motion" which is a well known legal term for time wasting endeavor.
As time went on, the lawyers became fewer and musicians from many other professions joined the swing band. The motion has become less frivolous and it was decided to pursue forming a professional dance band in the tradition of the great swing bands of the forties and fifties. While they all understand it is unlikely to become a lifelong vocation, the goal is to play the big band American song book and do it well enough to continue this great tradition into the new millennium.
For an extra special evening, there will be swing dancing at LaPrade's or on your pontoon boat, you do you!
Saturday, August 21 | Common Ground

In addition to classic and popular rock/pop/funk and Christian tunes, Common ground adds a blend of introspective and heartfelt original songs to their performances.
