Summer Vibes Concert This Weekend  This Saturday, July 18, at 7:00 pm, don’t miss Elvis and Friends performing in Magness Cove.  Annual Meeting and Dinner  Many thanks to the hundreds of you who joined us at the LBCA Annual Member Meeting and Dinner last Saturday! We’re tremendously grateful to Chair Lisa Fletcher, Paula Jones, Laura Freeman, and all the volunteers who made it such a fun-filled, information-packed event. It’s involvement like this that keeps LBCA a strong, vibrant organization for all of us. If you missed the meeting, you can view the attached “placemat” and slide deck with LBCA updates. Please take a moment to note the local businesses that partnered with us to make the dinner such a success. Highlights from the Annual Meeting Georgia Power Jeff Jackson, North Georgia Lake Resources Manager, reported the lake level is down approximately 11 inches due to modernization work on the dam and drought, while Lakes Lanier and Hartwell are down 5-8 feet. The lake is not anticipated to be drawn down until the winter of 2027.
